Jury Indicts Postal Worker for Fraud

A Northern California jury on Thursday indicted a former postal worker for workers’ compensation and wire fraud for making false statements to obtain $160,000 in benefits between August 2006 and November 2012.Mark E. Leung, 58, of South Lake Tahoe, worked for the U.S. Postal Service when he filed a claim for an alleged back injury in 1987. He never returned to employment after his doctors determined he was totally disabled.According to the indictment, Leung described his back pain as 6 out of 10 in severity.
