Workers' compensation carriers in Nevada combined to write $309.3 million in written premium in calendar year 2013, according to the Division of Insurance 2015 market report.
The 271 carriers in the state had a combined total of $293.4 million in earned premiums in 2013 and direct incurred losses of $155.6 million. As a result, the loss ratio for carriers in Nevada in 2013 was 53.04%, according to the division's report.
