Double-Dipper Gets 180 Days in Jail

A prep cook for a Pebble Beach company who pleaded guilty to one felony count of making a false statement to obtain workers’ compensation benefits and a felony count of failing to disclose an event that affected his right to an insurance benefit was sentenced to 180 days in jail, according to Intercare Holdings Insurance Services Inc.  Sven Hoffman was also sentenced to five years of probation and ordered to pay $28,399.83 in total restitution.
