Throughout his campaign for the Illinois governor’s seat, governor-elect Bruce Rauner said that workers’ compensation reform would be a policy priority for his administration. He won the Nov. 11 election, however Rauner never clearly outlined exactly what kind of reforms he had in mind. Rauner's vagueness on the issue may have a lot to do with political reality.
