OSIP Places Employer in Default

The California Office of Self Insurance Plans (OSIP) issued an order of default Tuesday against professional employer organization Administrative Concepts Corp., the first self-insured employer to be placed in default in 2012.OSIP said Administrative Concepts failed to make workers’ compensation payments to injured workers, in violation of the California Labor Code. “OSIP’s primary purpose is to insure that all injured workers of self-insured employers receive the workers’ compensation benefits they are entitled to by law,” Jon Wroten, chief of OSIP, said in a sta...
