The California Labor Commissioner’s Office on Wednesday announced a $1.47 million settlement with three client employers and their owners to resolve allegations of various labor law violations.
The settlement ends litigation that started after a hearing officer upheld about $1.5 million in citations issued to Tony Bran, owner of Exclusive Poultry Inc., J.T. Foods Specialty Inc. and D8 Poultry. Bran’s companies used employees provided by labor contractors.
