Lack of Fall Protection for Construction Workers Nets Contractor $57,000 in OSHA Fines

A Scranton contractor allowed employees to perform construction work without fall protection, the federal workplace safety agency found during a June inspection. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration issued $57,000 worth of penalties to Liberty Master Inc. after a compliance officer observed workers exposed to several fall hazards while 25 feet in the air.
