The Workers Compensation Research Institute is holding a webinar Sept. 6 to discuss findings from its recent study on the effects of medical inflation.
In a study published Aug. 3, WCRI said it found no evidence that increasing prices for energy, food and housing would drive up the costs of medical care for injured workers. WCRI also reported finding evidence that work comp fee schedules are effective tools to temper medical inflation.
