Contractor Arrested on Allegations of Theft, Lack of Comp Coverage

A roofing contractor in Clearwater has been arrested on suspicion of defrauding homeowners and working without workers’ compensation insurance. Terry Wayne LaCoste, owner of Terry W. LaCoste Weathertight Systems Inc. and David E. Gilliland Inc., was arrested Dec. 18  and taken to Pinellas County Jail, Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis said in a news release.
