West Virginia’s Intermediate Court of Appeals upheld the denial of a worker’s request to add conditions to his claim for his COVID-19 infection. Case: Stalnaker v. West Virginia University, No. 24-ICA-103, 12/06/2024, published. Facts: Dan Stalnaker has a history of chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and sleep apnea. In November 2021, Stalnaker was working as a physician assistant at Davis Hospital when he tested positive for COVID-19.
