BWC Proposes Drug Deletions, Additions to Formulary

The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation is inviting comments on proposed revision of its outpatient drug formulary rule. The changes were recommended by the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, which reviews current literature, accepted treatment guidelines and best clinical practices, as well as information from the Food and Drug Administration and drug manufacturers. If approved, they would take effect on Jan. 1, 2019.
