NEW YORK CITY — Injured workers should be armed with more information on the quality of medical services to help them make decisions on their own care, managed care executives said Friday during the inaugural Spreemo Quality Research Institute Summit.
“In workers’ compensation, we don’t do enough of that,” said Patricia Onion, chief executive officer of Berkley Medical Management Solutions, which provides workers’ compensation managed-care and cost-containment services for W. R. Berkley Insurance Group.
