The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation has revised its confidentiality rules with changes that will go into effect Oct. 13.
The BWC's rules already keep confidential Social Security numbers, criminal information, claim information, addresses, telephone numbers, and employer and third-party information. The bureau simply made some technical changes to reflect a change in its billing methods made about a year ago, said Director of Communications Bill Teets.
