The Texas Department of Insurance has approved formatting and other changes to the National Council on Compensation Insurance's Basic Manual.
The NCCI filed changes to the manual to reflect an updated email address; revised wording for consistency and clarity; removal of out-of-date tables; and reformatting to improve online search results, the DWC said in an order posted this week.
The changes apply to new and renewed workers' compensation policies that are effective on Aug. 1.
