The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that a person died Monday morning after jumping from the state office building that houses the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board office in Van Nuys.
LAPD officers who patrol the Van Nuys area were still at the scene late Monday morning, according to public information officer Tony Im. He confirmed that the “jumper is deceased.”
Im said he had no information regarding motives or why the person was at the building.
