The Louisiana Court of Appeals upheld an order requiring an employer to pay $20,019 to an ambulatory surgery center for a bill, penalties and attorney fees, finding that the bill was reasonable despite the employer's contention that it was 14 times the amount that would have been paid under the state's in-patient reimbursement schedule.Case: First Choice Surgery Center v.
