Contractor Charged with Failure to Provide Coverage, other Crimes

A California contractor will appear in court on Wednesday to plead to charges that he failed to provide workers' compensation coverage and worked without a contractor's license when he accepted a contract to extend a sewer line to a shopping center, according to press reports.
