Governor Vetoes State Fair's Request to Leave State Comp Pool

The Kansas State Fair has lost its bid to opt out of the State Self-Insurance Fund and purchase workers' compensation insurance in the commercial market.Kansas lawmakers had agreed to the fair's proposal in Senate Bill 572, an appropriations bill sent to Gov.
