The Washington state Department of Labor and Industries is holding a ceremony in Tumwater on Thursday to recognize people who were killed at work.
L&I said it will honor 84 people during the Worker Memorial Day ceremony, including 50 who died traumatic work-related deaths in 2015. The department will also recognize 20 people who died from long-term lung and respiratory disease, and 14 others who died before 2015 but were not included in previous ceremonies.
