Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest was among several insurance businesses cited this year in regulatory actions that brought in nearly $300,000 in fines in the first few months of the year, Washington state Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler said in a press release Thursday.Kreidler said Kaiser was cited twice: It was fined $70,000, with $55,000 suspended, for using provider contracts it did not file.
