QME Disciplined for Overbilling, Dispensing Medications

The California Division of Workers' Compensation reprimanded a Santa Ana qualified medical evaluator who allegedly prescribed and dispensed medication to an injured worker and inflated the bill for a medical-legal evaluation.The DWC on July 23 suspended the QME certification of Dr. Ron Y.
