Pier 1 Imports Hit With Four Repeated Workplace Safety Violations

A Pier 1 Imports store in Glendale has been hit with $101,000 in proposed penalties by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration after inspectors found that the company had yet again blocked aisles and piled stock at dangerous heights. Because the same violation had been found by OSHA at other stores, the Fort Worth, Texas-based company was hit with five repeated violations in addition to two serious violation citations.
