WCA Judge Griego Retiring at Month's End

The longest sitting workers’ compensation judge in New Mexico, Gregory D. Griego, will retire at the end of October, according to Workers’ Compensation Administration spokesman Van Cravens.Griego was first appointed as a workers’ compensation judge in 1986 and has been reappointed to five-year terms five times since then. Cravens, writing in the WCA’s fall newsletter, said Griego was one of the first judges appointed when the Legislature created the Workers’ Compensation Administration as a separate agency in 1986.Griego plans to open an arbitration and medication...
