The Hartford has hired a new vice president of loss control for commercial markets with more than 25 years of experience.Carl Carano, the appointee, will help develop and implement risk management services for The Hartford. He has worked in risk management, underwriting and loss control for American International Group, Cigna and Selective Insurance.
