Bordelon Testifies on Declines in Injuries, Claims

Texas Workers' Compensation Commissioner Rod Bordelon told a House committee Tuesday that a decline in workplace injuries and fewer claims for workers’ compensation benefits are leading to lower employer costs.Bordelon told the House Business & Industry Committee that workers’ compensation insurance carriers are able to lower employer premiums when claims decrease.
