The New Jersey House Labor Committee on Thursday approved the Thomas Canzanella 21st Century First Responders Act, also known as A 1741. It is considered one of the most generous cancer presumption bills in the country and would provide workers' compensation benefits for most cancers, as well as for communicable diseases, vaccine reactions, heart disease and more, for firefighters and other first responders.
