The Injured Workers' Insurance Fund said on Thursday it has launched a Schools Program that provides discounted workers' compensation insurance rates and group dividends to qualified primary and secondary schools and colleges, as well as educational libraries and archives.The Maryland-based carrier is offering the program to institutions domiciled in Maryland and will combine safety with loss-control services, IWIF said in an announcement.IWIF serves as Maryland's carrier of last resort and will convert to Chesapeake Employees' Issuance Co. on Oct. 1. 2013.The announcement is h...
