Commission Announces Email Service of Orders; New Deputy Commissioner Named

Workers’ comp defense attorney Mary Claire Brown has been appointed a deputy commissioner in the Charlotte regional office of the North Carolina Industrial Commission. And the Industrial Commission announced that beginning this week, deputy commissioners will begin serving orders via email to the attorney of record. Mail or certified mail will be used only to provide notice when an attorney’s email address is unknown or when a party is appearing pro se.
