The International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions has released a new version of the standards state regulators use to collect data from claims administrators, which technology leaders say will allow for quicker submission and fewer errors.
The update structures the association’s Claims Release Standard 3.0 using Extensible Markup Language, or XML. IAIABC Executive Director Jennifer Wolf Horejsh said the change makes the standard much easier for reporting entities to use.
