Regulators in Oregon and South Carolina announced that injured workers who travel to receive medical treatment after the start of the New Year will be reimbursed 65.5 cents per mile.
The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division announced the mileage reimbursement rate increased from 62.5 cents per mile paid in the last half of 2022.
Workers who travel for medical treatment or to attend an independent medical examination are entitled to reimbursement for their travel expenses. Mileage rates, as well as standard lodging and meal rates, are included in Bulletin No. 112, here.
