A roofer who pleaded guilty to workers' compensation fraud almost three years ago, then went on the lam, has been sentenced to one to four years in prison.
Joseph Kellogg, of Amsterdam, New York, was arrested last month near a relative's home in Middle Grove after he and his wife had disappeared following his April 2017 guilty plea, according to a bulletin from the New York State Inspector General's Office.
