Oregon's Medical Advisory Committee will hear a report from a subcommittee on the use of spinal cord stimulators when it meets July 10 in Wilsonville.
The advisory committee has been reviewing the use of spinal cord stimulators for injured workers since 2012 in an effort to determine whether these devices are cost-effective and should be covered by the comp system.
After hearing the report from the spinal cord stimulator committee, the full advisory committee will adjourn and two additional review committees will meet.
