Judge Upholds OSHA Fine of $250K, Calling Contractor's Testimony 'Selectively Vague'

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration upheld a $250,000 fine against a contractor who worked on a Manhattan hotel, not buying the contractor's argument that managers didn't know they were subjecting workers to fall hazards. Flintlock Construction Services LLC was cited in 2013 for not protecting its workers from fall hazards. OSHA found employees worked from scaffolds up to 26 feet in the air without fall protection.
