L&I: Workplace Deaths Down in 2015

The Washington state Department of Labor and Industries reported 18 fewer workplace deaths in 2015 compared to the previous year. A total of 58 work-related deaths were reported last year, which L&I said is the third fewest number of fatalities in the state’s history. The lowest number was notched in 2011 with 53 deaths, and the second-lowed number of workplace deaths was in 2003 when 54 workers died.
