Injured Trucker Accused of Working While Receiving Full Benefits

A Fort Plain trucker has been arrested on workers' compensation fraud charges after he allegedly worked as a long-haul trucker while receiving out-of-work benefits for an injury suffered at a different trucking company.  New York State Inspector General Catherine Leahy Scott announced the arrest of Chris Brownell, 46, on Tuesday. Brownell reported an injury in 2013 while working for a Palantine Bridge trucking company.
