A Brooklyn bar that was home to three knife attacks in less than a year has been shut down and fined $54,495 for not carrying mandatory workers’ compensation coverage and disability benefits.
Brooklyn Nights, whose corporate name is TNOS LLC, is located at 497 DeKalb Ave. and was issued a stop-work order by the Workers’ Compensation Board on Thursday, the agency tweeted.
The stop-work order says the penalty for not carrying comp coverage is $53,000, while the penalty for not carrying disability benefits is $1,495.
