Occupational Health and Safety Graduates Recognized at Safety Conference

Twenty graduates of a state-sponsored occupational health and safety training program were recognized this month at an annual safety conference in Lansing, Michigan.  The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) and Macomb Community College partnered in 2007 to create the MIOSHA Training Institute, which offers yearly seminars, continuing education credits and occupational health certificates.  Classes at MTI are taught specifically by MIOSHA continuing education consultants, and the program offers “affordable, participant-driven and ...
