Oregon’s Workers’ Compensation Board will discuss during a meeting Tuesday in Salem the hiring of administrative law judges.
The only item on the agenda for the board’s meeting is “ALJ hiring consultation,” with no additional explanation other than a reference to Oregon Revised Statutes Section 656.742(1).
That section authorizes the chair of the WCB, after consulting with the board, to appoint administrative law judges to serve probationary periods of up to 18 months.
