A physician who was convicted of driving while under the influence, and a physician who was disciplined by the state medical board for a record-keeping violation, were both temporarily suspended from the the state workers’ compensation system, the New York Workers’ Compensation Board said.
The board on Thursday announced the suspension of Dr. William Thomas Delaney, of Cropseyville. Delaney was convicted in February on a first-offense DUI charge, assault in the third degree and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident — all misdemeanors, the board said.
