AUSTIN, Texas -- Jessica Corna said Thursday that the Texas Office of Injured Employee Counsel was a mess when she took over in late 2014.
But Corna said during the Insurance Council of Texas' Workers' Compensation Conference that things have changed since Gov. Rick Perry appointed her to replace former OIEC Director Norman Darwin. She highlighted the growth the Texas Department of Insurance has made in the past decade.
