A county employee who was injured in a vehicle collision on his way to his assigned workplace was not on a special mission for his employer at the time, nor was he working as a volunteer firefighter, even though he was on call and carried a pager with him, the New Jersey Superior Court Appellate Division ruled.Case: Tumolo v.
