The California Commission on Health and Safety and Workers' Compensation announced that commissioner Sean McNally will serve as chairman in 2023.
McNally was elected Dec. 16. He represents employers on the commission and succeeds Mitch Steiger, a labor representative. The position of commission chair typically alternates between a labor representative and a management representative each year.
