Governor Picks Ricky Belk as Labor Department Director

Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe has appointed Ricky Belk of Alma as director of the Arkansas Labor Department.Belk, 56, currently serves on the Arkansas Workforce Investment Board and since 2005 has been the secretary-treasurer for the Arkansas AFL-CIO.Previously, Belk served on the boards of the Fort Smith United Way and the Alma Community Outreach Center.Belk replaces James Salkeld, who retired earlier this month.Beebe announced the appointment on Thursday.Source: Arkansas Governor's Officebody {background: #FFF;}body {background: #FFF;}body {background: #FFF;}...
