Brown Nominates Frank Brass for Reappointment to WCAB

California Gov. Jerry Brown has nominated Workers' Compensation Appeals Board Commissioner Frank Brass, 83, for reappointment to another six-year term. Brass, 83, has served on the WCAB since 2001. Brown's nomination requires confirmation by the state Senate. The position pays $134,591 annually. Brass is a Democrat, the governor's office said. Previously, Brass was an attorney at Parente and Christopher, a partner at Brass and Zuckerman from 1997 to 2000 and an attorney in private practice from 1995 to 1997.
