California Gov. Jerry Brown has nominated Workers' Compensation Appeals Board Commissioner Frank Brass, 83, for reappointment to another six-year term.
Brass, 83, has served on the WCAB since 2001. Brown's nomination requires confirmation by the state Senate.
The position pays $134,591 annually. Brass is a Democrat, the governor's office said.
