A judge ordered the owner of a roofing company and a Mexican restaurant to pay $45,858 in restitution to the Montana State Fund after pleading guilty to felony theft and employer misconduct, the state attorney general announced.
Salvador Maldonado-Medina, 36, was arrested in March and accused of failing to disclose that he was working while collecting temporary disability benefits for an occupational injury. Medina was ordered to pay restitution and given a six-year deferred sentence after pleading guilty on July 2.
