Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear is pushing back on court challenges to his executive orders during the pandemic, including his sweeping workers' compensation presumption order for essential employees.
If courts strike down the presumption, “that means our first responders, our active military, our grocery store workers wouldn’t get workers' comp when they come down with the virus that they got from protecting us,” Beshear said, according to a local news report.
