The California Senate Appropriations Committee will hold a hearing on a bill that would authorize electronic signatures for workers’ compensation proceedings after lawmakers return from summer recess.
The committee is scheduled to hear testimony on AB 2337 when it meets Aug. 5.
The bill, by Assemblymember Diane Dixon, R-Newport Beach, would allow electronic signatures on compromise and release agreements as well as other documents and filings.
