Fifty most expensive Hospitals Charge 10 Times Medicare Rates, Studies Find

The 50 most expensive hospitals in the country charge more than 10 times the amount that Medicare pays, researchers from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Washington and Lee University have found – and workers’ compensation payers might be more susceptible to those markups than others.
