The Texas Division of Workers' Compensation has published proposed new rules that are designed to make it more attractive for physicians to serve as designated doctors who help settle disputes over injuries.
The rules also would tighten qualifications and stipulate that some exams may no longer be performed by chiropractors, a change that's expected to meet resistance from the chiropractic community in the state.
