Mileage Reimbursement Dropping in 2017

The South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Commission announced that the reimbursement rate for medical travel will drop next year. Effective Jan. 1, workers who travel to receive medical attention will be reimbursed at a rate of 53.5 cents per mile. Workers were reimbursed 54 cents per mile for medical travel in 2016.
